• It's attached to your home

• Deck Blocks can only be used on free-standing decks under 24” high

• Minimum Post Size: 6x6 (140mm x 140mm)

• Guards Required:

  • 35" high if deck is over 24"

Not all materials sold in stores are legal to build with in Ontario.PVC, composite, aluminum, and glass products must be BMEC-approved and meet strict engineering standards.

2. Framing Inspection – Before decking is installed
